- Milas-Bodrum Airport (BXN) is a modern international airport located 36 km (21 miles) northeast of Bodrum, 16 km (10 miles) south of Milas, just north of the Güllük intersection. The International Terminal (Dis Hatlar) and Domestic Terminal (Iç Hatlar) are 1 km apart, though it only takes about 15 minutes to walk between the terminals. There are several buses and minibuses which run frequently along the highway. If you’re not part of an organized tour and if you haven’t arranged your hotel’s private transfers to pick you up from the airport, you can take a taxi to your destination though they can be quite expensive. Solo travelers may either share a taxi with other travelers to split the cost or walk to the highway to get on buses or minibuses which cost a lot more cheaper. However, Bodrum Airport’s International terminal is about 2 km away from the highway so you’ll probably have to walk for about half an hour to get to get to the highway as most airport taxis may not agree to take you just from the airport terminal to the highway. Another option would be to get on Havaş shuttle buses.
